display piece. This is meant to show Kepler's attention to the dual aspect.

Made from plywood this is a cube with symmetrical tabs. The cube has an

Octahedron inside it in a precise fit. The puzzle, when assembling

the cube is to get 3 different symbols at each of the eight vertices.

The puzzle when assembling the octahedron is to get 4 different

symbols at each of the six vertices of the octahedron.

You can also take it apart and assemble several other figures such

as a truncated cube as shown below. You can try to solve the symbol

problem with these as well. Only solutions for Cube and octahedron are
