Must see videos below of a fast reverse and Gyraxi-Traxi orbits and HERE.

Gyro-PlaniPhone is a new device that can make different sounds and musical beats.  Lots of other applications exist and it is quite a puzzle to figure out how it works.   When precessing it makes a very loud and precise striking noise that can be compared to the pleasant sound of a motorcycle engine.   You can use your two hands  for a more rapid spin

Here is the GPP Rat-a-tat-top or RTT system showing the hand held ring with ring end or 'ring' near the spindle and causing the spindle to orbit inside the ring.  This illustrates repulsion from the vertical and can also be called Forced Reverse Precession or FRP.  FRP has the  spindle always rotating in the opposite direction of the spinning top or gyro.  Natural precession or NP has the  spindle always rotating in the same direction as the spinning top or gyro.  FRP happens instantly.  As soon as the spindle touches the inside of the ring the direction of precession reverses and no loss of momentum in incurred. A video of this reversal is GYRO_REVERSE_DEMO.  It is caused by the momentum vectors of the top naturally putting force against the ring radial outward from the center of the ring thus undergoing forced reverse precession.  This FRP also causes the internally oscillating disk to oscillate much more vigorously than it does under NP.  It can be spun up so vigorously with the ring it will make a loose disk rise up off the surface of the top as rotation speed increases(see below).  Under NP this never happens.

Note that you can also move the ring in such a way as to start the top spinning and then keep it spinning by speeding it up from time to time.  You can also play a game of skill by trying to get it to move to a target with the ring controlling the spindle.

Here is the GPP Rat-a-tat-top system showing the hand held ring with small end or 'nib' near the spindle and causing the spindle to orbit the nib.  This illustrates attraction and is also natural precession.  Natural precession has the  spindle always rotating in the same direction as the spinning top or gyro.

Here is the GPP Rat-a-tat-top system showing how a loose disk on top of the top disk will rise up off the surface of the top disk when it is being rotated vigorously with the ring in FRP.  It will usually also make a striking or oscillating noise by striking the top disk intermittently and very rapidly.
